INTERNET X3 SWEET SWEET INTERNET.
So, yeah. About the past three weeks! Sucktackular. Despite being a major pain having to leech off of access points and me still not being up to par, cleaning and helping and making Dean's List, I'm unappreciative! At least I got some good arcade time in. I've had people cheer me on and know me from playing. My next target is Rhythm and Police doubles. Yes, it's weird that I can beat Healing Vision Angelic Mix, but eh.
On the home front draggers, I beat this with a 69%. X3;;;
Now I'm at college! This is rather yay. It's also yay as the fourth to our apartment is living with his fraternity for the year. So this means Katty has a single in a apartment! X3 I still feel kinda odd that I've got this space and the other two are sharing a bedroom, but they've taken over the living room with brewing equipment and the like, so it's a fair trade. This is very cool. Only hang ups are that I can't get two of my books, but that's because my professor ordered them late. That and I have to talk with my professor to see if he'll still let me continue doing the research I've been doing over the summer for course credit which would just... be nice. X3
However, there are some casualties! Luck like this doesn't come cheap. X3 Powerbuch is still DOA and sadly, my iPod has kersploded. As in I was using it, then the screen flickered all sorts of colors and died over the break. To morn its loss, I bought a special one of the stores here was having at the mall. So now I have a Nano and iPod Sport Kit. Should be good good fun. :3 Besides, I only listen to roughly 100 songs all the time at most. I should really clear out my library, but I'm such a packrat.
Anyway, going to give it a quick run and finally hop on AIM where I don't have to use a phone number like interface to typetalk! X3 |

Found a AP i can connect to around the house. strange thing this psp. totally worth the homebrew loss. that and i actually use the thing now. XP been dsing a lot since i found a copy of castlevania ds. anyway,if this AP holds up i may try to get on aim via aimonpsp.com . its laggy and buggy to all hell but its better than nothing. i really need to get out of here. even the worse case scenario for my school's housing has to be better than here. at least its 3 more days and i have sonic riders xp |

on my psp so excuse grammar. home has been turbulent. i'm a failure to my folks as well as being unappreciative dispite getting deans list & being at their beck and call. needless to say it has me less then happy especially when my brother who dropped out is held in higher regard. trying to find cheap lappy but i may just wait till i come back saturday to look. other news-got new cds of dance/trance & SOAP cd (which is the best movie ever) and can A HVAM doubles and FC DXY! doubles.miss yall <3 |

I swear I'm going to change this LJ (read: delete).
Anyway. Last day of work was good. Professor took us all out for lunch. Definately different person then like this as opposed to teaching. A real Gordon Ramsey complex (Forgive me Piehonx but I love the show XP) to be sure. That and he's intrested in keeping me on for the semester. This works both ways. Either 10 hours a week for course credit or for cash. I'd almost want course credit as I could bump one of my classes off which would make the semester really sweet (More time for Wii D:).
Tomorrow I go home, so more or less that equals 3 weeks of internet silence unless I'm at the mall ( to which I'll probably only be able to check LJ/Gmail, or someone in the neighboorhood has a open Wifi AP port.
I also realized, that by the time I get back, I could actually have enough for a MACBUCH. But I'll need it for books possibly, and WII.
Speaking of Next-Gen... OMG DEAD RISING. I played the demo and it's just... FUN. X3; I don't know what I'm doing... but I really don't care. X3 Zombies smash good with a hammer... and CDs... and foam swords while looking stylish. X3 The background mall musak really just makes it all the more funny... in a dark sort of way. :p
In other news, my leg's been bothering me. I don't know why. It's primarily my ankle/top of the foot and my knee. I freak out because I get a call from my dad today. His foot is bothering him. This is bad as when my grandfather was ill with diabetes/kidney problems etc, it was sorta the start of him getting his leg amputated.
Then again, even though I do eat my fair share of sugar. I eat relatively healthy, and exercise much, much more compaired to the rest of my family but meh. Then again, this started a few days ago, and the day before I was running. So maybe it had something to with that? But then theoretically, it should be both legs, not just the one. I've had a similar injury when I was playing DDR last year, but the thing is, at least then I knew I did something wrong. XP That and I can still walk and run and such. For all I know, it could be the heat.
So yaeh. There's that to go to. That and i accidentally left my wallet at the Clarkson offices... On the flipside, it's one of the securest places to lose your wallet. On the bad side, I could be potentially waiting to have it mailed to me. Hopefully I can find a older ID or something similar so I can cash the check I do have so I cna have play money and gas money. :P
As for the furry relatively near me, I'm going to try and visit him. He seems nice...

Coded Arms is absolutely awesome. My only complaint is it hurts my fingers when I play it too long. X3; Probably same reason why my ankle is bothering me. Been playing DDR alot at a ridiculously higher level. I want to rest my ankle some, but I also want exercise. XP *sigh* All I need is Max300 under my belt then the only song I won't have beaten is PSM/PSMO.
Speaking of videogames. I can't wait for the Wii. I'm drooling. MP3, Zelda, Red Steel, hell, Call of Duty could be fun... Far Cry? Murrr. Murrr. Murrrrrrrrr. 360 is looking awesome as well. Dead Rising drops next week (with a demo rumored within the next two days). Heh. I should work on t he games I do have. :P P.S. Prey was absolutely awesome. Multiplayer is fun, and laggy as hell. :P Meet some nice people on there, definately makes it fun. :P Not to mention Street Fighter 2.... wow. Wow. Wow. X3; I don't ever remember being good with Dhalsim. In later games (MvC2 especially), I could work with Ryu really well (Team usually consited of him, Jill and Morrigan/Sonson/Felicia)... but I dunno. Yoga fire. D:
Work is done tomorrow! Today was the research symposium and that went well. I'm glad the 4 of us were in the same area, so we all had someone to talk to. We all agreed we felt stupid. Everyone else was researching things how to save the world... we were talking about media. This made it really weird/awkward as 99% of everyone there was in a more scientific discipline. So 75% of the people would glance at our work and move on. Occasionally some people would ask about it, and I'd have to explain my work best I could. Ah well. People seemed to like the bit about MIT copying the art for these two Canadian comic book guys. One person thought it was Halo (record: US Army concept art is on the right).
Tomorrow, he's taking us all out for lunch. Score.
So, Saturday I'll be back home. According to my folks (and my disgruntled brother) I will have no internets till I get back to school in about three weeks. While my laptop is DOA, I did do the unthinkable and upgraded my PSP firmware.
What does this mean? Anywhere there's a WiFi spot I can access the interweb and I can AIM. However, when/if you see me on AIM, it'll be very slow (Yay JavaScript!)... and if I'm typing in all lowercase... don't kill me. :P I'll probably create a dedicated PSP AIM name... and just keep my Gmail account for mail (which would probably be a better chance to get a hold of me). Or phone. S:
Speaking of home, there's one good thing about it. Many people know that I have a pounced ad up, and I actually met someone who seems... sort of nice. Not nessicarily like significant other material, but he seems kind of fun and neat and such >.>. Probably end up just playing Halo nonstop. I'm considering trying to meet. It's an hours drive away, and I can get the car for about 7 hours per day by myself (Well, if you count my good for nothing brother being at home all the time). It'd dfeinately be feasible. Plus I like driving. And Driving + iPod hookup to car is LOVE.

I've been in a absolute malaise/rut lately. Whether it's because of my bad luck with sociality, the ending of my summer here, or me going home to no internets for three weeks, or just the general insanity of me living with myself, who knows. That and since my Laptop is again DOA, I'm goign to not be able to AIM or anything like that. However, after racking my brain, I upgraded my PSP so at least I can Livejournal and Mail whenever I find a WiFi spot... makes me want to go buy PSP games now, because I've been holding out for so long with homebrew... then again, I don't use it much anyway. I'll go into town today and see if they have Coded Arms, lol shooter. D: I'd get DS games but... there's no DS games here. There's barely any 360 ones. :P
...Or Sonic Riders. I have the strangest crushes. Wow, I need a girlfriend D:
Speaking of games, finished Prey. Completely neat. It was like Doom 3, but done way better. Can't wait for the sequel. Also, Street Fighter 2 tomorrow and hopefully the Dead Rising demo'll be out by the time I leave Saturday. Makes me also want to get 3 controllers for the fall, so I can get roomates to play. Nothing says Icebreaker like X-Box.
Or I could get a hat.... or just shave my headbecause my hair is not wanting to stay on my head.

Apparently I have a break coming up at the end of this week. WTF. x.x; So I'm already stressy about that, along with a bunch of other minor things in my life, not to mention a lot of work this week, beginning with a Psychology test on monday. x.x; :p The only thing I really have right now is Castlevania to calm me down, well, it did. But now I keep dying, but then again, I am playing agressively. :P
